This collection contains correspondence, research, and various publications collected by Dr. Milanich. Some of the prominent themes include his work as editor of the Florida Anthropologist and his work researching the trail of Hernando De Soto. The De Soto Trail is without question the dominant theme of this collection, but some other research interests of Dr. Milanich are also present, such as a folder containing information on a conference on Cherokee Prehistory.
